Composite Pipe High Strength Filament Winding Machine winds continuous fiber rovings onto a rotating mandrel at set angles. By controlling fiber placement angle and tension, the hoop strength and axial strength of the pipe wall are improved. Servo motors and an industrial computer control the spindle, carriage, extension arm and guide nozzle. After the operator enters product parameters, the system automatically designs the winding pattern. The equipment can wind glass fiber, carbon fiber, carbon fiber prepreg tape, aramid fiber and basalt fiber. For sand-filled pipes, a wet sand-filled system can be configured to mix quartz sand with resin evenly during winding.
