Tank winding equipment has different pressure on the frame than a small pipe line. The product body is wider and heavier, so the machine must keep the tank mold rotating steadily while the fiber sheet is placed across the shell. The reference ZQFW-4000 tank winding machine lists a winding diameter from 500 mm to 4.2 m and a length of 12 m. It also lists a maximum torque of 4500 N.m, 15 kW matched power, and 200 mm yarn sheet width.
These values affect the way the tank wall is built. If the fiber sheet is too narrow for the product size, production is slow and layer overlap becomes harder to manage. If the torque is not stable, the tank surface can receive fiber at an uneven pace. A steady mandrel drive helps keep the shell round, while the winding carriage gives the operator better control over layer position.
Tank winding is used for septic tanks, chemical storage tanks, reaction tanks, transport tanks, and other corrosion-resistant vessels. The right machine layout should give enough room for mold loading, resin handling, curing, and product removal. This makes the process easier to control and helps the finished tank keep a cleaner surface layer.
