An epoxy pipe line should be checked before resin and glass fiber enter the process. The reference GRE pipe line uses a 2-4 station microcomputer controlled winding group, steel pipe molds, inner steam heating, water cooling, demolding, cutting, grinding, thread molding, and pressure testing. The pipe size can cover 2 inch to 28 inch, or DN50-DN700, and the pipe length can be 9.15 m or 12 m.
The first check is the mold. It must match the pipe size and connection method. The second check is the heating and cooling system. The reference curing range is 60°C to 180°C by inner steam heating, so the operator should confirm steam supply, temperature reading, and cooling water flow before trial running. The third check is the winding path. Glass fiber must reach the resin bath cleanly and then move to the mold without twist or loose loops.
After demolding, pipe end cutting and cone grinding need accurate positioning. Thread molding or bonded ends should match the line standard. The last check is pressure testing. Finished pipes should pass hydrostatic pressure testing, and related API or ASTM checks can be arranged according to order requirements.
