Why Winding Angle Still Matters in Composite Production

May 19, 2026 Leave a message

In composite production, winding angle is not a small setting hidden in the control cabinet. It changes how the finished pipe, tank or cylinder handles pressure and bending. Many winding machines in the product range allow angle setting from 1° to 89°, while pipe equipment may use 50° to 90° according to the product structure. Our engineers

normally ask for the drawing, working pressure and fiber type before giving a setting suggestion. For buyers, this saves time during trial production. A stable angle, steady tension and clean resin bath usually give a more predictable first batch than changing several things at the same time. This is why we prefer slow sample checking before full production.
